5/30/09 5 division program - On the 2nd lap of the race,was again hit
7:00PM in the left rear quarter panel (third time this year)by the same consistantly over
aggressive driver ,had to pit with a flat,which was quickly changed.made it back to the track entrance only to find they went green in only 1 lap.The race went caution free,therefore
finished 10th....on only 1&1/2 laps.......

~1st time ever @ track..22 cars, 3rd in heat ,5th in feature~
7/25/09 Traveled
to Marion Center to race the street stock for the first time.No hot laps,no practice,strap in and go green.Finished 7th in
the heat race.20 cars,started 13th for the feature,worked up to 7th on a very loose car and looped in turn 1&2.Tailed
the field with 5 laps to go,worked back up to finish 11th. Had a great time....making some changes and looking forward to
next week.
7/31/09 - Plan on traveling to Thunder Mountain Speedway

8/1/09 - MARION CENTER ~ Strong running in the heat, up front with the leaders,Feature, Still working with the set up~finished
16th...Still learning the car,having fun ,getting valuable seat time and finishing races.~
8/9/09 - Central Pa Speedway Steel Block Nationals Tune
Up
Street Stock Shoot Out #4 - $1,000 to win.~ had an awesome time getting to compete
with the best street stockers in the area. was running 4th out of 11 in heat, got out of the groove due to lack of sight because
the helmet visor broke,, started 11th in the B main. was running in 4th (last transfer spot) but was "pushed" out of the way
by the 5th place running guy. Oh well, still had a great time. Very fast track. Looking foreward to the Steel block nationals
in Sept.
8/14/09 - Thunder Mountain Spedway - Started 10th
in
heat race,finished 4th. 20 cars started the feature,ran in the top 10,late race
caution,fell back a few spots finished 12th. All in all a real nice run.
8/22/09 - Hummingbird Speedway - Started last in a 10
car heat race ,finished 4th. Had a good run going in the feature ,running 5th when received a hard slam from "behind',
tailed the field and worked or should I say "ran the wheels off that street stock" and ended the race in the 6th position. What
an awesome run.
8/28/09 - Thunder Mountain Speedway - RAIN
8/30/09 - Hummingbird Speedway - Strong running in the
heat battling 37P & 28 for the win,finished 3rd. Feature; 3 way battle for lead early,then fell back a few positions,later
pitting with a flat,credited with 14th place.
9/6/09 - Central Pa Speedway "Steel Block Nationals"

Shawn "Sheetz" MCGarvey Memorial ~
40 Street Stocks all striving for one of the 24 spots in the big dance. Had a great
starting position in the 2nd heat,only to find we were running on 7 cylinders.Fixed the mechanical
issues,started 12th in the consi (taking 3) halfway; running 6th on the move to the transfer spot. On a restart the leader
missed a shift???? and the field behind all bunched together, us included, had to pit with 3 flat tires!!!
9/12/09 - Hummingbird Speedway ~ Mick Orsich Memorial
22 Street stocks in the pits....started 13th, by lap 2 running 8th.Got into a tangle,pitted
with a flat,changed and back out but
down a lap.Used the rest of the race as valuable seat time.
Nailed a good set up,was able to pass inside & outside.Worked
back into the top 10,only to have to pit with steering pump
problems.Credited with 12th place finish.Still an AWESOME run.
9/19/09 - Chili 100 ~ Being run at Hummingbird ~

50 ~ Street Stocks ~
Started the heat race and had to pit by lap 3 with mechanical problems.(power steering
pump/belt issues) We were very disappointed to end our 09 season that way,but will get busy right away preparing for the 2010
season. We will be back in our "normal" colors & number ~Black 77R~
